ABOUT US

Members of Camelot Community Club (CCC) enjoy relaxing days and evenings at our beautiful pool, located in a secluded wooded area of the Camelot Neighborhood.

CCC is located at 3604 Balin Court in Annandale, Virginia. The pool phone number is 703-560-1222 during the regular season.

Our facilities are both stroller and handicapped accessible, and include a gated zero depth baby pool with water fountains and a beach entrance, picnic areas, grills and a covered pavilion. Our social calendar is packed with fun activities for kids and adults alike. Family float nights, adult dinner socials, and group exercise opportunities are among the activities planned for this summer.

We are proud of our Swim and Dive Teams, The Camelot Knights. Our participants enjoy the fun of social activities in addition to terrific physical conditioning and healthy competition. Our youngest swimmers, age 5-7, can also participate in The Squires swim program. This team is specialized for the younger swimmers. They socialize and focus on learning basic swim strokes. Plus we also host swim lessons, both individualized and in a group setting.

To become more familiar with CCC, we’ve put together a “Top Ten” list to help answer questions about the pool.  If, however, this doesn’t answer your questions, please feel free to contact any CCC Board Member.

Camelot Pool Top Ten List

  1. Pool Hours:  The pool opens for the season at 10:00 a.m. on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. From Opening Day through Labor Day, the pool is open for general use at the times listed at the top of the page.

  2. Parking: There is a parking lot for CCC located almost immediately across from the intersection of Saxony and Camelot Drive. If you park on the street, please be respectful of the residents and their access to their homes. Fairfax County parking regulations state that you must park 10 feet from a driveway, 20 feet from an intersection, and 15 feet from a fire hydrant. See http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/fcdot/parking_restrictions.htm for details. It is requested that there be no vehicle traffic and parking on Balin Court.

  3. Check-in/Member Number & Wristbands/Entry: When you enter the pool, please check-in at the lifeguard station first. You will sign in with your member number (Please contact the Membership Coordinator if you do not know your member number).  If you forget your number, the lifeguard can look it up for you. Each member of your family will be given a wristband to wear for the duration of your visit. Children 9 years of age or under must be accompanied by a person 13 years of age or older. Please enter the pool through the bathhouse.  Ramp access to the pool is located through the baby pool area.

  4. Guests: If you purchased guest passes or are eligible for them based on your payment date, the guest passes will be at the lifeguard station under your name. You may leave the passes at the lifeguard station or you may take them with you. If you would like to bring a guest to the pool, the fee is $5.00 per guest, per visit.  The same guest may visit no more than five (5) times per season. Extended Passes for Member’s Out of State, Overnight Visitor(s) are available. A One Week Family Pass is $25. A Family Weekend Pass is $10.  There is no charge for grandparents and grandchildren.  Written notification must be provided to the Board prior to the visit.

  5. Breaks:  All children under 16 years of age must leave the main pool for a fifteen-minute period each hour. The lifeguards will clear the pool at 45 minutes past the hour and allow swimmers to re-enter the pool at the top of the hour. Members and guests 16 years of age or older are allowed to stay in the pool during the break.

  6. Wading/Baby Pool, Slide, Diving Board & Lap Lane: The wading/baby pool is open only to children under 6 years of age or older children with special needs. Lifeguards are NOT responsible for guarding children in the wading/baby pool.  The Slide is open at all times that the main pool is open. Rules for use of the slide are posted on the slide. The dive well is used for both swimming and diving.  The lifeguard on duty will designate if the diving boards are open or if swimming is allowed in the dive well.  There is a designated lap lane in the pool for lap swimming.

  7. Snack Shack:  At designated times, concessions are sold at the Snack Shack, located next to the Pavilion. There are also limited concessions sold at the lifeguard station.

  8. Pavilion: Members may reserve the Pavilion for birthday parties and other functions. Reservations may be made for periods up to three hours for $40 (guest fees still apply to guests who will be swimming). There are BBQ gas grills that you can use anytime. If you bring in your own food or drinks, just remember that no glass objects (containers, bottles, drinking glasses, etc.) are permitted on the cement pool decks.

  9. Social Events: There are many social events throughout the summer (and in the spring and fall). We hope you’ll join us.  Please view the Calendar for more details.

  10. More Information: CCC has a Manual of Rules and Information and official By-Laws that detail all of the rules and procedures for Camelot Community Club.  These .pdf documents can be accessed here or at the guard station at the pool.
